Material Handler (Forklift Required)Shift: 5:00am-1:30pm Mon-FriPay: $16.50/hrLocation: Ocala, FL (34474)Contract-to-hireClimate Controlled!Job DescriptionThe Material Handler is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments while supporting internal material movement to production areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate inventory flow and timely delivery of materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.Move materials to and from production areas to support operations.Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts as needed.Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and stand-up lifts.Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Communicate any discrepancies, damages, or shipment issues to leadership.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.Material movement may consist of approximately 50% equipment operation and 50% manual handling.Essential SkillsProficient in operating forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models.Experience in material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory management, logistics, picking, and packing.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to operate pallet jacks.Experience in receiving and shipping processes.Capability to lift 50 pounds regularly.Why Work Here?Enjoy working in a climate-controlled environment that enhances comfort and productivity.Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility, offering a pleasant working atmosphere.
