Lead Inventory Technician

Full-Time

7:30AM TO 4:00PM

Location: 1451 El Camino Real The Villages, Florida 32159

Under the direction of the Manager, Supply Chain Services, the lead inventory tech will assist the manager in the scheduling staff, workload distribution and providing training and education to the inventory tech team. This position will troubleshoot backorder and stock-out situations and identify possible solutions in collaboration and coordination with the manager, clinical resource manager and purchasing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in the build of new supply rooms and ensuring the current ones are well maintained and free of expired products
• Maintains and provides a safe and therapeutic work environment for customers and others.
• Report any issues to management and ensure issues get resolved
• Provides training and education to new team members and continuing education to existing team members
• Assists in scheduling and workload distribution
• The team lead will act as a floater upon need in cases of being short staffed to ensure all areas are adequately serviced
• Logs miles on mileage sheet daily, keeps UF Health Central Florida vehicle neat and clean
• Safely operates company vehicle while delivering supplies to our off-site locations.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

• (3) three years of experience working as an Inventory Technician or in a related role.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Valid Driver's License

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
