Description:

The Harvest Technician supports post‑cultivation activities and operations of our cultivation department. This position will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. Our ideal candidate is a self‑motivated, positive individual who can think of no better way to spend the workday than harvesting our cannabis plants with expert care and precision. Cannabis is a heavily regulated industry, therefore requires all employees comply to safety and compliance regulations.Essential FunctionsParticipate in cannabis harvest process including harvesting plants, sanitizing flower rooms in preparation for next grow, reloading flower rooms, and handling materials and cannabis waste.Properly dry wet cannabis plantsAccurately weigh and record post‑harvest materialsFollow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing dutiesSafety & ComplianceBe aware of hazards in the workspaceRetain and understand department specific trainingReport safety incidents/ concerns and comply with follow‑up actionsBe compliant with area safety requirements, state regulations and PPE requirementsFollow GMP, biosecurity, sanitation or other quality and compliance requirementsPerform record keeping accurately and completely as directed by a lead or supervisorMaintain and calibrate tools, equipment and machinery as directed by a lead or supervisorReport and elevate safety & quality concernsWorking ConditionsRegularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motionsMust be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focusMust be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (and up to 100 pounds with assistance) with extreme care and caution when working with productMust be able to work in an environment up to 85+ degrees with up to 70% humidity for extended periodsMust be able to work at heightsAbility to work in a fast‑paced, changing, and challenging environmentWork involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil)QualificationsMinimum of a high school diploma or GED; degree or certifications preferredEffective time‑management skills and ability to multi‑taskAbility to work well with others while also completing individually assigned tasksAbility to work in a fast‑paced, changing, and challenging environmentPrior cannabis experience not requiredAdditional RequirementsMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust possess a valid state IDMust be able to obtain and maintain state badging requirements to work in the cannabis industry (requires background check and state review)As set forth in Green Thumb's Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
