Requirements
The Line Cook plays a critical role in delivering the exceptional food quality that defines the Tacos & Tequila Cantina experience. This position is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes, food safety standards, and quality expectations while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
What You'll Do:
Prepare with Excellence
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
- Ensure food quality, taste, temperature, and appearance meet brand expectations.
- Coordinate food production to support efficient and timely service.
Maintain Food Safety Standards
- Follow all sanitation, food handling, personal hygiene, and health regulations.
- Complete food temperature checks and maintain proper food storage procedures.
- Label, date, and rotate products to ensure freshness and food safety compliance.
Keep the Kitchen Running Smoothly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and report repair or maintenance needs.
- Minimize waste through proper handling of food, supplies, and equipment.
Work as One Team
- Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively during busy service periods.
- Remain open to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Deliver on Our Standards
