Job Title

Join the boutique of a 5-star reference camping site on the Mediterranean coast, where every visit should become a pleasant… and a pleasurable purchase.

We are looking for a true merchant at heart, capable of welcoming with energy and a smile, advising with expertise, and valuing the products as well as developing the turnover.

Your missions will be as follows:

1. Sales and commercial animation

• Proactive welcome (you go ahead of the client)
• Personalized advice and upselling
• Sale of souvenirs, textiles, local products
• Advice on partner activities and excursions

2. Merchandising and boutique management

• Shelving: daily restocking
• Product display and thematic windows
• Ensure the cleanliness of the boutique

3. Stock management and reporting

• Stock monitoring and anticipation of shortages.
• Carrying out rotating inventories.
• Proposal of new references to the Reception Manager based on customer feedback.
• Weekly reporting of "Top sales" and "Flops".

4. Tourist information point and concierge

• Inform clients about the campsite and the surroundings (Portiragnes, Canal du Midi, etc.) with a "local expert" approach
• Manage reservations for activities offered by the Campsite

Practical point:

Contract: Seasonal CDD

Working hours: Full time

Workplace: Camping Les Sablons – Portiragnes

Housing: possible according to availability

Profile Sought

Your know-how:

From retail trade (ready-to-wear, decoration, concept store, fine food, tourist shop…), you ideally have a successful experience of one to two seasons minimum in a boutique.

You master:

• Sales techniques and the different stages of the customer journey: Welcome – Discovery – Argumentation – Conclusion – Complementary sale

• The use of a cash register software

• The basics of merchandising:

  • folding and presenting a garment with care

  • organizing an attractive sales space

  • arranging a harmonious and impactful window display

• Languages: Fluent English is indispensable. German or Dutch is a real asset

Your know-how:

You deeply love sales and customer contact. Going naturally towards others is part of your personality.

You are:

• Possessing an excellent relationship

• Attentive to detail and to the quality of presentation

• Autonomous and a force of proposal

You share and embody the human and ecological values of the campsite.
