Follows established policies and procedures./ppA Retail Banker will be responsive to both Personal Banker and Teller needs of clients./ppAll associates at Capital City Bank, Capital City Wealth, and Capital City Home Loans have access to confidential client information and must practice discretion at all times./ppPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities Are Reflective of a Retail Banker and Not Necessarily in Order of Frequency or Importance:/polliMust be energetic, engaging and able to handle various client interactions with innovative banking technologies./liliOpens, closes, services and supports all accounts, products and services./liliUses various programs to ensure work is completed accurately and in compliance with regulations, such as: Bank Secrecy Act, Reg CC, Privacy, Currency Transaction Reporting./liliResponds to client questions or concerns in a quick, courteous and friendly manner./liliCross-sells Bank products and services, marketing campaigns and initiatives, to new and existing clients to meet their needs as well as attain individual, division and Bank goals./liliEnters data, updates and maintains client information and status of referrals and leads, in Synapsis./liliFollows procedures for open/close office and robbery response./liliEducate clients regarding ID fraud, phishing scams./liliProcess consumer and commercial transactions, i.e.: account deposits/withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, Official Checks, wires, and safe deposit box payments, when applicable./liliKeeps cash secure and maintains a high level of safety and security. Maintains cash levels; balances cash drawer daily; scans Teller work./liliFollows procedures including researching, and locating outages, thereby limiting violations of Teller and Personal Banker Performance Balancing Standards./liliAttends meetings and training sessions, as required./li/olpAll associates must understand and adhere to the non-negotiable Banker Standards and commit to practicing SGNNT (smile, greet, name, name, thank you) at all times. Associates will consistently follow policies and procedures as established by Capital City Bank, Capital City Wealth, and Capital City Home Loans, with department managers setting the standard./ppAssociated Duties:/ppProvides additional support to manager and department colleagues./ppCompletes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines./ppKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required:/ppThe following KSAs are usually acquired through 1-2 years work experience and/or a combination of work and education. Experience in client service, sales, cash handling is required./polliExcellent interpersonal skills required to verbally communicate effectively and interact positively with clients, associates and business partners./liliAbility to follow detailed instructions and a wide range of procedures requiring some judgement./liliRequires concentration to avoid mistakes in counting cash./liliProficiency in data entry/typing./liliAbility to perform basic mathematical computations using various business machines and/or computers./liliAbility to stand and/or sit for long periods of time./liliAbility to apply initiative and work with minimal supervision./liliAbility to exercise sound and reasonable judgement./liliSales, retail and/or referral experience is preferable, particularly in cross-marketing products and service./liliMust have attained the age of 18 for coverage under insurance bond./liliUse of and/or understand of Capital City Bank products and services is a plus./li/olpEducation:/ppMinimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred, but not required. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement. Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program is a plus./ppWorking Conditions:/pp1. Works at desk in lobby and behind Teller line. 2. Regular contact with clients, associates and supervisor. 3. Repetitive motions. 4. Close visual acuity. 5. Some lifting of heavy coins. 6. Position requires sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. 7. Receiving currency from all sources may cause environment to be temporarily unclean. 8. Lobby environment requires professional demeanor, conduct and appearance. 9.
