Hotel Executive Chef - Luxury Hospitality
Location: Ocala, FL (Relocation Available)
Salary: $120,000-$150,000 (Negotiable)

Our client, a nationally recognized luxury hospitality destination, is seeking a Hotel Executive Chef to overseeall culinary operations across multiple restaurant concepts within its flagship hotel. This is a department head leadership role responsible for driving culinary excellence, consistency, and operational performance across multiple high-end restaurant and dining concepts.

This position reports directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and plays a key role in overall F&B strategy and execution.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all culinary operations across the hotel, including signature restaurant concepts, pastry, in-room dining, and additional outlets
  • Oversee multiple kitchens and culinary leaders, ensuring consistency, quality, and execution across all venues
  • Develop and refine menus in collaboration with restaurant leadership, maintaining high standards in presentation, flavor, and sourcing
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing culinary team, fostering accountability and strong culture
  • Drive financial performance through labor management, purchasing, budgeting, and inventory control
  • Maintain strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and food quality standards across all operations
  • Partner closely with F&B leadership, restaurant GMs, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experience
  • Establish and maintain systems for quality control, portioning, and product consistency
  • Monitor vendor relationships, product quality, and purchasing standards
  • Stay current on culinary trends while maintaining a polished, luxury-driven dining experience

What You Bring

  • 5-7+ years of leadership experience in luxury culinary environments
  • Background in Forbes 4- or 5-Star, Michelin-level, or high-end hotel/resort dining preferred
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple outlets or large-scale culinary operations
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage, coach, and develop large teams
  • Deep understanding of kitchen operations, systems, and high-volume execution
  • Strong financial acumen across labor, food cost, purchasing, and inventory
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
