Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Ocala, FL, for an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, including menu development, team management, and food preparation. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and creating high-quality dishes that reflect our focus on live fire cooking. Collaboration with management to align culinary offerings with company goals is also a core aspect of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills in menu design, food preparation, and live fire or open-flame cooking techniques
  • Leadership and team management skills, including training and mentoring kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and kitchen operations
  • Expertise in food safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations
  • Creative flair for developing innovative dishes and enhancing customer dining experiences
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in a comparable role
