You will be the Metrologist Senior for the Ocala Metrology team. Our team is responsible for advancing precision measurement capabilities and ensuring the reliability of calibration systems across diverse applications. What You Will Be Doing:As the Metrologist Senior you will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and refining calibration systems that quantify physical and chemical properties with high accuracy. Your responsibilities will include not limited to:-Develop and validate calibration methods rooted in measurement-science principles. -Identify and quantify error sources to assess uncertainty and reliability.-Perform hands-on calibration of electronic, electromechanical, optical, pneumatic, Temperature, Physical Dimensional and pressure-type instruments.-Analyze measurement problems and recommend technical solutions to meet precision requirements. -Document procedures, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
