About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Chief of Staff to work directly with the CFO, serving as a right-hand operator to ensure the execution and follow-through of high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization. This is not an administrative role, it is a hands-on, operationally focused position where the individual will coordinate cross-functional projects, track outcomes, and drive measurable results.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, is comfortable working across departments, and has the ability to translate strategy into action. From Day 1, this person will own initiatives and ensure alignment with the company's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Initiative Execution

  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and accountability.

  • Partner with the CFO and department leaders to define, plan, and execute key company initiatives.

  • Examples of strategic initiatives: designing a sales compensation plan with the VP of Sales, implementing reporting capabilities and running point on key M&A due diligence objectives.

Operational Coordination & Alignment

  • Act as a central point of coordination across departments to ensure initiatives are executed according to plan.

  • Monitor progress of projects, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to the CFO.

  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, or risks and proactively implement solutions.

Decision Support & Communication

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to support informed decision-making.

  • Facilitate clear communication between the CFO, senior leadership, and teams to maintain alignment.

  • Act as a liaison for cross-functional collaboration, ensuring transparency and follow-through.

Project Leadership & Ownership

  • Own both one-time and ongoing initiatives, leading them to completion while coordinating with functional teams.

  • Serve as a problem-solver for obstacles that arise during execution.

  • Ensure initiatives stay aligned with company strategy and priorities.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accountability, and results.

  • Help optimize organizational structures to enable better execution of strategy.

  • Foster a results-oriented, accountable, and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Strong financial background required.

  • 2–5 years experience in management consulting, private equity, investment banking, business transformation or project management.

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in high-growth organizations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Proactive, high-ownership mindset with a results-driven approach.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana/ClickUp, and reporting dashboards.

  • Expert at excel.
