Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role supports both scheduled maintenance activities and urgent repair needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform emergency repairs on production equipment during active operations to minimize downtime.
• Execute routine and preventive maintenance on machinery during planned service intervals.
• Set up and prepare equipment for scheduled production runs, ensuring readiness and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to accurately complete maintenance tasks.
• Maintain compliance with all workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and performance.
• Complete additional duties as assigned to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.
• Technical certification or vocational training is preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems, including troubleshooting capabilities preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under time constraints.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including overtime as needed.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).
• Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments.
• Ability to climb ladders and navigate stairs.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and physically demanding positions when required.
