Fresenius Medical Care - - Responsibilities: Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow and dialysate flow; Evaluate vascular access for patency, cannulate, and administer heparin as delegated; Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight and monitor patient response to dialysis; Record treatment data accurately on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification and nursing signatures; Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control policies; prepare laboratory specimens as required
