AdventHealth - - Responsibilities: Implements treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist; and through consideration of practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.; Uses appropriate therapy procedures, documents data, and follows individualized care plans set by the occupational therapist.; Provides patient and family education, including home exercise programs for treatment carryover into the discharge setting.; Conducts age-appropriate assessments and interventions, completing annual age-specific competencies relevant to the scope of care.; Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.
