Join our team as a Senior Operations Leader, where you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and team development. In this position, you will oversee all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center, ensuring that budgetary, performance, and employee development goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of quality and Lean initiatives to ensure operational success and exceed business objectives.
• Manage overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience in either Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Set clear expectations for Operations and Area Managers, monitoring performance and accountability.
• Encourage a culture of innovation by sourcing and nurturing new ideas for improvement.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices across departments and shifts.
• Collaborate with departments such as HR, Finance, and IT to secure resources and support for various projects and initiatives.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both above and below head level.
• Frequently walk throughout the Fulfillment Center, which covers over a quarter mile.
• Stand and/or walk an average of 5 miles daily.
• Work in environments that may include noise and temperature variances.
• Access all areas of the building safely, including ladders and stairs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Available to work flexible hours based on business needs, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of experience at Amazon; 7+ years of direct management experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies.
• Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience managing a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate good judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Interest in long-term career growth with opportunities in multiple Fulfillment Centers nationwide.

Location: Full-time position in Ocala, FL. Competitive base salary between $135,000.00 - $182,700.00 annually, complemented by sign-on payments and stock units. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
