Work Details:

Engagein traffic flagging duties while ensuring safety and compliance at work zones.

Compensation:

• Starting Hourly Rate: $16.00/hr (for first 40 hours/week) & $24.00/hr (for any overtime, i.e., hours beyond 40 hrs/week)
• Typical work schedule: 5 ten-hour days per week, plus applicable drive time (for drives exceeding 1 hour each way).
• Per diem: $25/night for any overnight stays, with company arranging hotel accommodations (typically decent hotels like Hampton Inn/Residence Inn).

Additional Benefits:

• Take-home, company-provided pickup trucks available for employees promoted to Foreman roles or above.
• Standard promotions from Flagger to Foreman roles achievable within 3 to 6 months.
• Participate in a Flagger/Foreman training program designed to enhance skills in traffic management and site supervision, guaranteeing 10 hours of work for each working day during training.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
• Clean driving record is essential for this role, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Reliable transportation is required; employees may meet at job sites or carpool with foremen in company vehicles.
• Candidates must be physically able to stand outside for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Willingness to travel for overnight stays within the state of Florida, if required.
• Maintain a positive attitude committed to learning and supporting the team.
• PRIME Traffic Control operates as a drug-free workplace. Candidates must be willing to pass drug/alcohol testing.
• No felony convictions in the past 5 years are permitted.
• Must be ready to absorb and apply safety training standards diligently to protect yourself, your team, and the public.

Preferences:

• FDOT Certified Flagging Certification is a plus.
• New hires without certification must complete a 4-hour training course before commencing work.

PRIME Traffic Control specializes in establishing safe work zones for the Electrical Power Industry—ensuring safe management of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Support Advanced MOT Foreman in setting up essential safety equipment including signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, and message boards.
