Forklift Material Handler

Schedule: M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay: $16.50/hour

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
• Prior forklift experience with sit down or stand up forklift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects 40+lbs.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Must have steel toed shoes.

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing and moving materials within the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory. This role is crucial to maintaining the flow of goods and supporting the overall operations of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
• Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Organize and store materials in designated areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
