Description:

TRUST OFFICER - Lake County, FL

Join a community bank that knows trust is built one relationship at a time.

About the Role:
We believe banking is personal - especially when it comes to helping families protect their legacies. As our next Trust Officer, you'll play a vital role in guiding clients through life's most meaningful financial decisions. You'll combine expertise, empathy, and hometown heart to help individuals and families plan wisely, invest confidently, and secure their futures.

This is more than a job - it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community while growing your career in a place where people truly matter.

What You'll Do:

  • Build lifelong relationships. Partner with clients to design trust and estate plans that reflect their goals, values, and family stories.
  • Collaborate with trusted partners. Work closely with clients' attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors to ensure every detail of the trust is handled with care.
  • Guide thoughtful investments. Partner with our in-house investment team to align portfolios with long-term objectives and the best interests of beneficiaries.
  • Keep clients informed and confident. Prepare and present trust accountings and financial reports with transparency and precision.
  • Be a local ambassador. Represent our bank at community events, local gatherings, and business circles - sharing how we help neighbors protect what matters most.
  • Deliver exceptional service. Bring integrity, professionalism, and personal attention to every relationship you manage.
What You Bring:
  • A strong foundation in trust and estate administration, financial planning, and fiduciary responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills - you can translate complex financial concepts into clear, reassuring conversations.
  • A genuine connection to the community and a passion for helping people.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset.
Your Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • CTFA certification or equivalent credential.
  • 3+ years of experience in a trust, investment, or legal setting.
  • A commitment to doing the right thing for every client, every time.

Why You'll Love Working Here:
When you join our Bank, you become part of something special - a locally rooted team that believes in service, trust, and community. Here, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds: a welcoming small-town feel backed by the strength and stability of a respected financial institution.

We're proud to serve our neighbors, friends, and families - and we can't wait for you to join us in making a difference every day.
