Groundskeeper's

Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club

We are looking to add team-oriented individuals with a passion for the game of golf and course management. These positions require a positive attitude, strongwork ethic, ability to work with the team as well as work alone, and willingness to want to learn all aspects of golf maintenance.

The groundskeeper positions assist the course maintenance staff in day-to-day operations, performs daily course maintenance responsibilities to a high level and incorporates safe work practices in job performance. The potential candidates would be capable of following instructions as given and would adopt the "culture" of the department in behavior, work ethic and appearance. Our team puts a lot of effort into creating a unique development plan to enhance each team member's skills and focus on work- life balance as a key component. The Groundskeepers will work 40 hours a week with every other weekend off.

Groundskeeper 1

• No Experience Needed.
• Must have a TEAM mentality.
• This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who thrives in a culture that encourages individuals to make decisions independently and learn how to use their time productively.
• Ability / Willingness to learn new tasks and operate different types of equipment as required.
• Ability to provide the extra level of detail / cleanliness from the shop area to the golf course.

Groundskeeper 2

• Should have experience as a laborer with appropriate grasp of golf course conditions and standards.
• Basic knowledge of equipment used on golf courses and for golf course maintenance.
• Ability to communicate with team members.
• Must be self-motivated, lead by example, and have a strong attention to detail.

Groundskeeper 3

• The candidate should contain all of the skills and knowledge required to do almost every task on the golf course.
• Extensive knowledge of golf course equipment as well as the ability to operate machinery at a high level.

Additional Salary Information:

Groundskeeper 1 - $17/hour then a raise to $18/hour after 90 days

Groundskeeper 2 - $19/hour

Groundskeeper 3 - $20/hour
