Job Description:

• Maintains accurate records of sterilization activities and inventory levels. Other duties as assigned.
• Operates sterilization equipment and inspects instruments, equipment, and containers to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Performs decontamination of soiled instruments, sterilization containers, and equipment according to instructions for use (IFUs) and established protocols.
• Corrects instrument sets according to current standards, established count sheets, and/or instrument tracking systems.
• Maintains proper levels of inventory to ensure availability for case carts. Performs regular quality assurance program audits of peers.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$17.11 - $27.38
