Horticulture 2
The Horticulture Department requires team-oriented members that are quality driven and detail oriented, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the horticulture world and how it works here at Golden Ocala.
Additionally, we require a strong work ethic, both as a team and individually. The ability to communicate well with others and to take direction are a must. Mutual respect between team members is essential in developing a strong program.
The Horticulture team works 40 hours per week with occasional Saturday assignments based upon club requirements.
Educational Requirements:
* High School Diploma
Work Requirements:
* Some knowledge of horticulture standards and processes
* Self-motivation becomes a requirement
* Willingness to learn to operate all equipment
* Willingness to learn all aspects of departmental functions
* Willingness to be detailed in all daily functions
* Willingness/ability to be a strong team player

Experience Requirement:
* Should have some experience in either the field of horticulture or grounds maintenance
* Should have a basic knowledge of most equipment used in the fields of horticulture and grounds maintenance
* Some knowledge of horticulture standards and processes
* Ability to work outside, year round
* Have a good attitude and team mentality
* Be able to follow directions and make appropriate decisions on the job
* Have good time awareness and ability to stay on task

Salary:
$16.00 per hour
