We are on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department, which includes cash flow management, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. This role is integral to our financial stability and growth, and as such, requires a professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will have the opportunity to shape the financial future of our company.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for

• Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
• Directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.
• Coordinating activities of external auditors, ensuring all audit issues are resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with U.S. GAAP and federal, state and other required supplementary schedules and information.
• Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
• Monitoring and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Advising management on actions regarding the purchase, lease, or disposal of property, plant, and equipment.
• Participating in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role should possess the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial and statistical data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.
