A highly respected General Contractor in the Greater Miami-Fort Lauderdale area is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the delivery of high-quality commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and career-driven individual who has already completed at least two ground-up or major renovation projects and is eager to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects
• Maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and punch lists
• Support procurement of materials and subcontractors
• Track project schedules and budgets
• Communicate with field teams and participate in site walks
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and closeout deliverables

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in commercial construction
• Proven track record of assisting on at least two completed commercial projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiar with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
• Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus due to the local workforce and subcontractor base
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to grow professionally
