Job Details

This is a highly responsible position involving the supervision of inmate workers, the laundry, the ironing room and ensuring all inmate's personal/jail clothing and linen is picked up/delivered on a scheduled basis. Examples of Duties Duties: A. Abide by the "Law Enforcement Code of Ethics". B. Thoroughly know, understand, and comply with Agency procedures, rules and regulations. C. Thoroughly know, understand, and comply with Florida State Statutes pertaining to the operation of county detention facility laundries, rules and regulations contained in the Florida Model Jail Standards, and accreditation standards. D. Be directly responsible for the pickup/delivery of inmate personal clothing while ensuring they are cleaned on a scheduled basis as directed by Agency policy and procedures, the Florida Model Jail Standards, and accreditation standards.
