Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in HVAC, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing systems. This role involves collaborating with various teams, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and maintaining quality standards throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all project specifications are met.
  • Oversee the design and installation of HVAC, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing systems.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while tracking progress and addressing any deviations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and quality of work.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management within the construction industry.
  • Proven expertise in HVAC, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
