Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

The client is a technology enabled, AM Best A-rated, homeowners insurance carrier (writing business outside of FL) whose top line has grown exponentially. The carrier is founder led and is closely connected with well-known names in the carrier, distribution, and reinsurance space. They understand the market, they understand insurance production and they execute well. They have exceeded all their business plan benchmarks and are adding additional product lines. In short, they have a strong story to tell.

Scope

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function of the company. The role will involve developing and managing budgets, financial models, and forecasts, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic insights to senior management. The Manager will collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives, and present financial information to stakeholders. The role requires a strong analytical and communication skillset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support the company's strategic goals and objectives.
• Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures, and provide insights to senior management.
• Lead a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives, and support decision-making processes.
• Present financial information to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and board members.
• Manage projects related to financial planning and analysis, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record of success.
• Experience leading a team and managing projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel and financial planning software.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) are preferred.
