Are you ready to lead exciting large projects? As the Manager of Engineering / Large Capital Mine Expansion, you'll oversee large capital expansion projects from start to finish. You'll collaborate with teams including operations, geotechnical and water planning, maintenance, permitting, EHS, site leadership, procurement, finance, and project controls. You'll also work with third-party consultants, engineering firms, and contractors to ensure smooth execution. Your goal? To plan, engineer, and execute projects safely and on time.

Job Description

As the Manager of Engineering / Large Capital Mine Expansion, you will oversee projects from start to finish, collaborating with various teams and external partners to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.

What You Will Do

• Lead FEED through construction, commissioning, and closeout for mining expansion efforts.
• Provide input to management for sound front-end planning and realistic timelines.
• Coordinate project efforts and resources across departments.
• Manage capital spend and oversee project forecasting and cost management.
• Lead capital budgeting, oversee forecasting, accruals, and deferrals.
• Enforce capital process management.
• Create future forecasts and execute engineering and scoping for accurate planning.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote safety culture.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, project management, or construction management.
• Experience leading EPCM firms from design to commissioning.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
