General Store Manager

Description:

The General Store Manage will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and leading the team to meet sales and profitability goals. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who can maintain a clean, organized, and compliant store environment while supporting a high-performing team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise store staff to ensure exceptional customer service at all times
  • Oversee inventory management including ordering, stocking, labeling, and seasonal displays
  • Manage cash handling procedures and ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit objectives
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and logs in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Train, coach, and support team members in food service and retail operations
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout the store
  • Monitor equipment, perform inspections, and coordinate necessary repairs with maintenance
  • Serve as a hands-on leader, actively assisting customers and supporting daily store functions

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Serve as a hands-on leader, actively assisting customers and supporting daily store functions
  • Great customer service skills required.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Microsoft experience (excel and outlook)
  • 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Previous experience with cash handling procedures.
  • Must be available to work evening and weekend hours and have open and flexible availability.
