To effectively lead and develop training and career development of all employees and to actively drive implement, and monitor training of new employees.
Responsibilities/Expectations
Develop and implement orientation program for new employees in conjunction with HR and the Leadership Team.
Implement skill assessments and training in the following areas:
Building with Beer on and off premise
Power Selling and Coaching
Time Management and Organization Skills Training
Beer knowledge training
Management Coaching and Counseling training
Train all employees on how to give and receive feedback
Follow up on training of each employee to ensure the employee can actually perform the skills for which they were trained
Be the advocate for training of all new employees.
Position Requirements
Knowledge of PI Predictive Index is a plus
Strategic planning skills
Excellent organizational skills.
Kaizen or ISO exp a plus
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Heavy travel between Tallahassee and Ocala
Must be able to develop effective working relationships with all internal tern members
Must be able to interact and negotiate with all levels within Cone Distributing, retail establishments and our suppliers.
Must have the aptitude to work within and foster a team environment
Knowledge of Team Cone market and retail call standards for both on and off premise.
The ability to learn and understand route accounting software.
Must be able to understand and sell the entire portfolio
Must possess the ability and maintain Cone Distributing Retail Call and merchandising standards
Understanding of sales and marketing program implementation
Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of malt beverages
Attend all staff, monthly sales meetings as scheduled
Good math skills
The ability to use Smart Phones, iPads, computers, or other similar electronic devices in the performance of job duties.
Strong and effective communication skills for both internal and external communications.
Education/Experience Requirements:
College preferred. Will consider experience in the field +Education
10 years of Management experience
Computer skills-Word, Power Point, Excel
